NASF is a 501 (c)(6) trade association whose mission is to promote the advancement of the North American surface finishing industry globally.
AESF (American Electroplaters and Surface Finishers)
AESF is the local affiliate (Palmetto Branch) of the NASF (National Association of Surface Finishing). It promotes technical education and fellowship on a local basis (North/South Carolina and northern Georgia).

John Cutchin named an Ambassador for Economic Development by the South Carolina Department of Commerce
On April 9, 2014, John Cutchin was named an Ambassador for Economic Development by the South Carolina Department of Commerce in recognition of his contributions to the manufacturing industry.
Each year Palmetto Plating encourages academic achievement by presenting scientific achievement awards to the local high school, middle school, and to the school district.
Palmetto Plating also supports athletic achievement by presenting the Brooks-Carr award for football.
